“Ilya, what are we gonna do?” Shane says.
Ilya finishes whatever he has been doing on his phone, and tosses it gently to the bed beside him. He crosses the room to Shane, stands in front of him, squeezes into his shoulders with his big hands, rubbing them like he means to warm them up.
“Looks like we will have a little vacation,” he says, with a big obnoxious grin.
Boston and Montreal are sent to Paris to play against each other in an exhibition series in January 2017. Ilya and Shane decide to stay in Paris for one more night. Just one more night, so they can talk. Maybe finally understand each other.
They aren't expecting a volcano to erupt in Iceland and close all the airspace in Europe, leaving them stranded there. Together.

The figure paused, hesitating for a mere moment, before disappearing completely. And reappearing on the exact opposite side of the clearing. Then, he was gone, back through the trees. At least, gone until tomorrow night when it was inevitable that this dream would resurface again. And there would be nothing new, nothing revealed or uncovered in this relentless rewind, but the desperate urge to see the male’s face would remain.
Because despite everything else being a mystery, there was only one being capable of doing what the male had just done, jumping across the clearing like that. He had teleported. Traced. Vampire.
OR: Shane, a powerless Sorceri, dreams of a male vampire almost every night. When the leader of the Sorceri demand a quest to retrieve an item stolen from her, he decides to seize the chance to gain a power for his own and find the thief.

He leaned back, caught by the unthinking pull of Rozanov's dominance. Leaned into Rozanov's hand before his brain could even come online and beg for the silence submission promised, body too stupid and touch-starved to know any better. Too easy.
Shame welled hot in his throat. He controlled the instinctual jerk away and covered it with a step forward, allowing Rozanov's hand to slide off his back as he ducked towards the bar entrance.
