But Jackie had begged her. Had grabbed her hands and pulled her so close Natalie felt dizzy, unable to say anything but yes when the honey-blonde batted her lashes and used that dangerous pouty voice on her.
And now she's leaning against a wall, thinking of ways to find weed somewhere.
The cup Nat’s been nursing currently holds one sad sip at the bottom. She downs it and pushes off the wall, planning to find something to do.
She’s just strolling toward the kitchen and alcohol line when she’s stopped in the hallway.
“Ajjoo, Scatorccio!”

Jackie can still see Jeff’s disgust when she forced him to put his name to prom king, his discomfort so similar to Shauna’s when she forced both of them to go with her to prom when they were still juniors.
She smiles at the thought, the three of them drunk from a whisky flask some senior smugged inside as Jeff tried to make them dance to The Clash.
“Oh God, no” - she can barely stomach the idea of Jeff now - “Why do you think I keep kissing you?” - Jackie realizes then, how high she is - “Black hair, eyeliner, and too many leather jackets.”
“Jackie Taylor!” - Nat sounds bewildered - “Are you saying you only kiss me because I look like Trent Reznor?!”
Jackie is surprised by the amusement inside Nat’s eyes, the happiness.
“Oh, fuck you” - Jackie wants to climb on her lap and taste her happiness - “Like you are not kissing me because, somewhere deep inside of you” - she raises her finger, accusingly - “I remind you of Gwen Stefani and everyone has seen her poster in your locker.”
OR, Jackie is pre-griefing losing Shauna and Nat is a punk. Can I make it any more obvious?
