Summary
After Naomi sends one Dr. Gregory House scans of Solid Snake, he becomes fixated on the case. He won't rest until he figures out his newest puzzle.
If that means stealing Snake and Emmerich from another doctor and dragging them to Princeton-Plainsboro, that's fine with House. Especially when unraveling all the government secrets around Snake becomes an even more twisted and tantalizing puzzle.
House is the best in the world. He can solve this, he's sure of it. So long as he doesn't piss off his patient's family too much in the process.

It’s like this: if Phoenix Von Karma loses at something, he turns into a dog. The dog varies in breed and size, as does the duration. It probably has something to do with how embarrassed he is at losing, and whether or not it was important, and how badly he wants to have thumbs again. He’s expecting Professor Von Karma to hit the roof, but he takes it surprisingly well.
“My daughter has a talent,” he says indulgently chucking the girl under the chin as she preens. “Though it is an unfortunate malady. You know what must be done.”
And so Phoenix stops losing. At anything.

The plot in this was insane, I clicked here for fluff and then experienced a rollercoster of emotions as I went through corruption, mystery, organized crime, INSANE world building, and of course, romance. I was actually gasping at some of these reveals and walked around my room while ranting to myself. Amazing. Just. Amazing.
