Spock and Bones care far more for their captain's welfare than the captain has ever seemed to. I wonder whether their combined efforts will be enough to keep James T. Kirk alive, against all odds, in a universe which seems comically, cosmically, against his continued survival?
Any guesses as to whether the two ever say one friendly word towards each other along the way? Is there room for a genuine, jovial, three-way friendship on this Constitution Class ship?
Definite angst, hurt, hurt/Vulcan or Bones style comfort, in a gen setting.
