Nobody could ever accuse Craig Boone of not hating the Legion enough. Except, when the Courier captures the Vulpes Inculta after her successful storming of Caesar’s Fort and locks him up in the Lucky 38, Boone wonders if he should start feeling pity for the former Legion officer.
Alternatively: something that was supposed to be NCR victory Courier/Vulpes Inculta quickly spiraled into a sort of post-game epilogue for Boone. (The fic is just Boone standing there watching the Courier and VI in barely disguised disgust.)

A few months ago, I suffered a head injury during battle. I have lost my memory. The doctor says I am suffering from acute retrograde amnesia. He said it means I got a head injury so bad that I cannot remember the last few years of my life. I do not remember any of my service, anyone I served with, or where I went during service.
