Summary
Bilbo drops the Ring. He's glad to be rid of it. It had gotten so heavy lately, so unevenly were his pockets weighted that sometimes he would even stumble a bit, and Frodo would ask after his health, and Bilbo would shoo him outside and inspect the golden gleam of the Ring in solitude. He's so glad it's gone, really.
No matter, he turns out the door of Bag End to begin the trek to Rivendell, eyes shut against the harsh light of the full moon.
When he opens his eyes into the moonlight, Bag End is nowhere to be found. He turns and turns and turns and only finds forest ahead of him and the exit of a stony tunnel behind. He's out of breath, though he hadn't been running before. His pockets are unevenly weighted once again.The One Ring realizes that once it gets into Frodo and the Fellowship's hands, the power of friendship will certainly win out. So instead, it timeloops Bilbo Baggins. He cannot drop The Ring, give it away, or die without resetting the loop.

Summary
The Shire faced another Fell Winter, and somehow this one was so much worse. But worst of all, it was followed by a Diseased Summer. The crops are dead and dying, and Bilbo knows there will be no food for another Winter. So he finds the solution, the hobbits must move to Erebor. It takes a long time in the middle of summer, but they manage, and not without loss. Bilbo revists the many locations of his adventure, and with them comes many waves of grief and regret, until he's finally at Erebor and the crux of his emotions and losses. Now he has to face the empty spot Thorin has left behind and learn to live another new life here under the mountain.

Summary
The cold wind roared on top of the ramparts, the armies still with their breaths held, the company’s eyes wide and begging quietly for the nightmare to end. End it did, with a crash and cracking of bones.
Thorin Oakenshield, son of Thráin, son of Thrór, King under the Mountain, loosened his grip on the collar of Bilbo Baggins’ ragged blue coat. With nothing and no one to hold the hobbit back, the poor burglar tumbled down the stone slabs of dwarven architecture towards the ground. If he was shouting, the dwarves didn’t hear - wind muffled any screams or gasps as it kept roaring in their ears. The King under the Mountain went still as a statue and that was exactly how Fili remembered him in this moment - like stone, with all its worst qualities. Cold, emotionless, steady in his choice without an ounce of regret.
Thorin Oakenshield, King under the Mountain, did not live to see the Battle of Five Armies, for his own nephew Fili had slain him then and there on top of the acursed ramparts.

Or, in other words, a story of Thorin Oakenshield's demise, his successor Fili the Fair, and the afterlife in which Thorin seeks Bilbo's forgiveness. -

By the power of the Valar, two women have been forced from their world and into the world of Middle Earth in one of many attempts to fix a mistake forced upon their work by the writings of Tolkien; the deaths of the main Durin line. However, they're put 43 years before the start of the quest and separated.
Cindy, as odd as the name is to her fellow dwarrow, is easily welcomed into Ered Luin and does her best to not give away that she is not from their world. Oddly enough, Mahal favors her enough that she ends up befriending or meeting many of Thorin Oakenshields Company, for better or for worse, and its there that their fates intertwine and form a new path for them to follow.

Bilbo is distraught after the events upon the Ravenhill, and starts to make his way back home to Bag End to live a somewhat peaceful life after all that adventure, and pine sadly after a certain (dead:( ) Thorin Oakenshield. But then Gandalf reveals that Thorin felt the same way and this just sends Bilbo into a spiral of depression.
