"Sasuke", a whisper in the form of a voice that was more breeze than sound, laden with affection and that placid tone that belonged to only one person.
Sasuke let out a hoarse groan, an empty protest from deep in his throat. He still tried to turn his face to the side, where the cozy darkness of the pillow deepened, but soft hands stopped him, framing his face with an inexplicable tenderness.
"Wake up, otouto", the voice insisted, and more kisses rained down, now on his forehead and temples. "It's already day."
"The sun can go fuck itself", Sasuke grumbled, half-annoyed, though not with the person sitting on his hips. His voice was still raspy from sleep, but despite the irritation, his arms seemed to have a will of their own, so they simply moved. In one simple movement, they found the slender, almost fragile waist that balanced above him. His fingers clenched the thin fabric of the satin nightgown Itachi wore to sleep, a gift from their mother that he thought was too much, even if he liked the way it looked on his brother's body. It was sky-blue, leaving his pale shoulders exposed.
