They butt heads like no one else in all of Camelot.
Then as Merlin started to serve and grow fond of the blond royal prat, his body started shifting.The books called it reclassification, a rare collapse of dominance under emotional strain.
Gaius called it falling in love.

In other words, Merlin is being reclassified to an omega due to a certain royal alpha. And Arthur takes notice. -

He's hidden his presentation since the second he set foot in Camelot, for being a warlock's mate would grant incredible power- power that people would go great lengths to possess. When King Cenred of Essetir visits Camelot, Merlin finds himself the target of a man determined to bend magic to his will.
Merlin would rather die than give his magic over to anyone but Arthur. It just might come to that.

Again, my ability to understand Micro fails me.
Like really fails me, second chapter destroyed microfiction dreams.Merlin meets Lance's group of Alpha friends, and find they're all very big on touch.
Well, all it seems, except Arthur.Just simple cuteness, no 18+ content. Tonnes of swearing though, and some insinuations, but no actual sex.
Now with second chapter Arthur's POV
And kissing, because as a commenter rightfully pointed out, no kissing was unacceptable.
