Or Op and Ratchet reunit after Predacon Rising but before RiD. Ratchet is already in a relationship with Predaking and have a kid with him. However, Predaking as more kids with other bots so he lets Op and Ratchet have a side relationship.
Despite Op being a main character, he doesn't get any sexy time.

His love for Optimus comes with his very being. Forged with his frame and his spark in tandem. It is a sappy sentiment not fit to his character, but that is just the way it is. He could question it, but there is never an urge to do so. He loves Optimus in all the aspect. He loves him as his prime, as a friend, as one might to a lover. And so, when Optimus offers a conjunx ritus for them, Ratchet said no.
Because he loves him.
Accidentally sparked after a one night stand with his prime, Ratchet deals with the consequences.
