Scar starts to speak, taking a step forward, but Grian takes a step back, planting his hands on Scar’s shoulders. “It is too rash!” he insists. ”Too unadvised, too sudden. Too like the lightning, which doth cease to be ere one can say, ‘it lightens’.”
Scar says nothing — he has no written line here. But he takes Grian’s hand in his. He holds it, gently, as if it’s something fragile. Grian’s completely blindsided as he feels a pang in his chest. Oh, Scar.
He places his other hand over Scar’s, squeezing it reassuringly. His voice is soft as he finishes his line. “Sweet, good night…”
Aah. This is the part of the scene where Scar and Pearl would’ve. You know.
He sees Scar give an imperceptible nod, eyes locked with his.
Grian is cast as Juliet and Scar is cast as Romeo as they rehearse the balcony scene oh no I wonder what could possibly happen

Freddy and the Glamrocks are an up and coming part time band/party mascots. They travel from town to town across the country looking for work. They stop in bars to play for older audiences, and book parties with kids through their manager to play for younger audiences.
The last thing Freddy expects to find in the band’s van late at night is a small kid. They’re scared, confused, and he has no clue what to do.
Especially when that kid decides to show him the mess of metal and wires under his synthetic skin.

Currently there are 30 chapters written out for this story. Each chapter is around 2k words. Any and all feedback is welcome. I know for a fact that the plot near the climax gets a bit dicey but hey, I’m not a professional writer so it is what it is. Anywho I hope you’ll give this a chance.

Grian landed lightly in front of the hidden room. He and Mumbo had made it together after the first week it had all started again. It was located near the shore, just outside Boatem village, unused except for every Saturday morning when they all returned.
Quiet conversation greeted him as he descended the stairs, making his way to join the rest of his friends. At first glance, he was the last person to arrive. Scar was curled in the corner, Jellie securely on his lap (she had become a regular visitor to the weekly meetings after the end of last time). Impulse was sitting beside him, one hand absently petting the cat, the other typing furiously on his communicator. Pearl, Ren and Cleo were in deep conversation, and Pearl looked like she was itching to rush over to Empires and check up on everyone there. Grian didn’t blame her. Tango and Bdubs were pointedly Not Talking to each other, and a tired-looking Etho sat firmly between them.

Safety was a difficult thing to describe. There were a lot of basic things that living beings needed to survive and to feel safe - warmth, food, water, shelter - but beyond that safety varied from person to person. For some, it was about location. For some, it was about family. For Grian, it was about being away from them.
Grian had felt safe for a long time. Xisuma had reassured him when he’d joined the server that no outside presence could reach him here - although he’d neglected to explain to his Admin quite how powerful the reach of the Watchers were. But as time had passed and nothing had happened, Grian allowed himself to relax. To trust those words were true. To feel safe. The feeling had washed over him like a warm blanket. He let himself forget what it felt like to be afraid, to be hurt, to have to fight. He allowed himself to laugh with his friends, to build incredible structures and create incredible landscapes. He allowed himself to prank and to be pranked. He had fun.
