This work delves deeply into the world of Avatar, staying true to much of the source inspiration while taking liberties so as to age it up and break down so many of those amazing themes and questions brought up in the show. Specific focus on trauma, guilt, and PTSD; on the moral gray area that war creates and the inevitability of having to do the hard thing over the right thing. Early chapters set the framework, but later chapters are some of my best writing.
Sprawling, long-form character study (mainly 3rd person, with 1st person flashbacks).

A retold story from the perspective of Castian Cavendish/Caspian Stor, an original character that I didn't have a fandom for and still don't. This story takes place during the events of the game 'Your Boyfriend', meaning there will be triggering topics for some audiences, including stalking, paranoia, abuse and neglect, alcoholism, obsession and, of course, character torture and death. Please don't read this story if you get triggered by said topics easily. This story is meant to be written as a romance story, but it is not meant to romanticise the horrors of stalking and the trauma caused by it. The characters in this book/fanwork are all named the same as the original characters, aside from last name changes; their appearances may not be described the same as they are shown in the game. If you want, you can see this as some sort of original work, but it is based heavily on the events of Your Boyfriend. I have only seen/played the two-day demo, so I have no idea the events of the rest of the days, and I refuse to pay for the rest of the game so far, so I will be writing my own events. With all that said, please enjoy this work.
