Summary
It all starts as a "harmless" military bioweapons project, designed by the US military to aid them in the ongoing world war. I mean, what could possibly go wrong? The answer is: a lot.
It turns out that the virus Fabian creates, designed to only infect animals, actually mutates once its out in the open. Cities turn to ruins, countries fall to anarchy, and all development ceases as the undead roam every single corner of the world.
Those lucky enough to be uninfected have either come together as groups in an attempt to survive or isolated themselves from the outside world, much like the once-renowned scientist has done. The military's containment force, antagonised by those left alive, weeds out difficult survivors and undead alike.

However, that is all about to change when not one, not two, not three, but four of the deadliest plagues that are unlike the human eye had ever seen each begin in separate locations — that being the Neurax Worm, the Necroa Virus, the Simian Flu, and the Shadow Plague. Does humanity have what it takes to take back control against four apocalyptic plagues or will everything be consumed under the mind-controlling worm, the mindless zombies, the intelligent apes, and the bloodthirsty vampire?

Summary
There is a mysterious power in the shape of the spiral. To some, they represent new life, and the potential for growth without limitation. To others, they represent chaos, a turbulent descent into madness.
This is based off a Plague Inc Custom Scenario of the same name, Power of the Spiral, created by indigofenix. I highly suggest checking it out, and the guide that goes along with it.
This is also my first work, and like indigofenix's first scenario, is highly ambitious. I do hope I don't miss too much.
I will likely post one chapter a day, and keep them rather short. Let's just say we're on casual for the first few ones.

As fun as it is to play god in games like Plague, where the fate of the world is in your hands, what if it actually happened? What if you actually caused humanity... to go extinct?
