Reimu Hakurei has never needed a noble calling to do her job. Keep the balance, resolve incidents, earn enough to keep the shrine standing, and get through the day. But when Nitori develops a machine that lets someone experience ancestral memory, Reimu is thrown into Bakumatsu-era Kyoto—a city of patrols, informants, political killings, and fear so thick even the youkai feed on it.
What she finds is not a distant history lesson. Through the life of an earlier Hakurei shrine maiden, Reimu is drawn into the fragile line between humans and youkai at a time when that balance is already breaking down. Every dive pulls her deeper into the violence of a collapsing order, and closer to truths about the Hakurei role that were never meant to survive in neat shrine stories. Mizuchi Miyadeguchi remains at the edge of it all: observant, unsettling, and tied to this buried past in ways Reimu cannot ignore.
While Nitori, Eirin, and Akyuu struggle to understand what these memory dives are uncovering, Reimu is forced to face a past that is no longer content to stay in the past—and the possibility that the Hakurei legacy was built on far more than duty alone.

After waiting for a while, Kim decided to venture out himself to give pastries to his teacher. But since he was not looking, he manages to accidentally get himself transported to Gensokyo.
