Or rather that he could be a good person. Now he’d taken everything from him.
The bullet hits the top of Charles' spine, and Erik sees he is dying and doesn't just abandon him and leave him for dead in the sand BECAUSE WHAT KIND OF PERSON WOULD DO THAT???
