“This is a gala event, Pipsqueak; why would there be pizza?” Caleb asked, his eyes solely on you and his hand stabilizing your waist as you kept craning your neck to look around.
“But the other rich people don't like pizza, baby,” Caleb patted your back soothingly.
“I don’t want to be rich then,” You huffed. “That’s lame. So many parties and galas and keeping your grass trimmed so HOA, or whatever you have equivalent to HOA here, doesn’t fuck you in your butt… being rich is laaame!!” You drawled.
Caleb broke into soft laughter and covered his mouth when it got too loud. You broke into a brilliant smile when he did, and you leaned on him. Or at least it seemed like you had been trying to. You ended up flopping your entire weight on Caleb.
“We should get outta here. Get pizza. And show that we can party harder than they ever can,” you whispered loudly, already failing to hide your secret plans.
