Except – except he does, somehow. Some cousin on his mother’s side that he had no idea existed, that he’s pretty sure his dad didn't know about either. The pompously named Hannibal Lecter, with whom he'll have to stay until he turns 18 or his father wakes up, whichever comes first.
It wouldn't be so bad- Baltimore's got reasonable weather and he can dig the weird pretentious goth aesthetic the house's got - if it weren't for the inexplicable way Hannibal smells so strongly of blood and death.

They, however, know nothing about our world and I should hope it will stay that way,” Dumbledore said with a meaningful look.
