Wilson: oh good point
Or: After Shane accidentally outs himself to his team, he expects the worst. Instead, he's reminded that almost every hockey player in the league has some form of hero worship for him and is reminded that he is, in fact, Shane Hollander.

Naim was dying. He knew he was. And even in his final moments, he couldn't find it in himself to pray to God for help. He knew He wouldn't help. No one would help.
----
Naim opened his eyes to the bare beige of his room's ceiling. It takes a second for his eyes to adjust to the darkness, he hadn’t slept in the dark since everything with Not-Ryan, and scrambled backwards on his bed.Or: Time Travel fix-it au because there isn't nearly enough fanfics for this movie and i want a time travel fic. If you can't read it, write it!

Summary
“Good morning, everyone. Sit where you’d like for now.” Harry was understandably nervous for his first class of the day, and his first class of the school year. It just so happened that the sixth-year Gryffindors and Slytherins were the first class that he had to teach. When he taught the members of the DA, it was less nerve-wracking because they had all signed up to be taught by him. His peers now don’t have a choice. And he never taught Slytherins before.
Or:
After Hogwarts recognized Harry as an official professor when he taught the DA, Dumbledore decided to give him a shot at actually teaching DADA. -

That made him freeze. There’s no way, right? It was just a coincidence, Finney and a baseball game. It didn’t mean anything. But he looked up at the screen and saw a painfully familiar face with two long braids of brown hair that matched his own. His little sister, Gwen.

Summary
Dr Spencer Reid died 9 years ago, in a case gone wrong. He was Gideon's prodigy agent and was heading towards a fantastic career within the bureau. Instead, he ended up buried at the age of 23. Unable to come to terms with his sudden death and unfinished life, Reid still roams the halls of the FBI building, unseen and unnoticed. That is until a spiritual and already death-crossed Garcia stumbles upon him, and in her haste doesn't question the young doctor's presence. Her unmoving belief in Reid allows her not only to touch him but to open the eyes of others. The young doctor is soon dragged right back into the arms of the BAU, nursing the secret of what he is and trying to avoid questions of why Rossi, one of his colleagues, never seems to acknowledge him.

Summary
“You will not be so nice when we beat you,” Ilya told Shane Hollander, holding onto his hand, not letting him pull away. Not yet.
But Hollander’s brow furrowed, not in anger but in confusion. “Ah, um, sorry,” Hollander said. “Merci. My English is bad. Worse… than you. Maybe slower?” And he leaned in, like that would help him understand.
Ilya’s eyebrows rose, and his smile widened.
Or, Ilya Rozanov grew up in Russia. Shane Hollander was raised in France. When they first meet, neither of them can speak English very well. Somehow, it’s easier to understand each other when words aren’t getting in the way.
(Stand-alone remix of “I’m Reading Your Lips (You’re Speaking My Language)” but this time neither of them are native English speakers, and learning a new language is sort of like falling in love, if you think about it.)

Summary
And there it was, clear as day. Ilya shoving his tongue into Shane’s mouth in the reflection of a background of a fucking Hayden Pike fan video.
Shane was going to talk to the team about it that first practice after. But then management had pulled him into a meeting and from the game that night. He’d spent hours defending himself and his integrity as player, as a captain, and as a person.
