“You're in a secure facility under the care and observation of Umbrella Corporation,” the man continues, speaking right over him as if Bryan actually is a ghost. “To the knowledge of every person, organization, and entity outside of this building, Bryan Hodukavich no longer exists.”
There’s another expletive-filled response that comes immediately to Bryan’s lips, but it dies away as he fully processes what he’s being told.
“If– if all of that’s true, then what…” Bryan chokes on his own words. “Wh-what happens when…when I leave here?”
He already knows the answer. The doctor tells him anyway.
“You won’t be leaving, Bryan.”

Summary
Lawrence fumbled the door open, and heard the expected yelp of surprise. “Sorry,” he blurted, before his eyes could adjust to the darkness of the dim office. “I didn’t mean to– to interrupt–”
The sight in front of him stopped him dead in his tracks.
Adam was in his ergonomic office chair, scrunched down so he could plant his feet on the floor while spreading his legs wide. His shirt was rucked up to his chest, and his stomach was heaving with every breath. Adam’s eyes were wide with shock, still dark with lust, and they flicked guiltily from Lawrence to the screen in front of him. The entire room was dark apart from the computer’s glow, washing Adam in whitish-blue light.
“–you dare film this next part,” a voice said through the speakers. “I’ll just embarrass myself.”
Lawrence blinked, all his breath leaving him in a sudden rush.
On the screen wasn’t a porno. It wasn’t dirty pictures.
It was him.

Oh. Oh. Finally, the puzzle pieces clicked into place. Lawrence’s strange intensity during their first meeting, the way his interest seemed more piqued by Adam’s obedience than his flattery or flirting, the bizarre way he talked about their prospective arrangement…all of it made sense now.
Adam nodded, his throat dry. “Yeah. Uh, a little. Handcuffs, spanking– stuff like that, right?”
“Those are a bit on the tamer side, but…yes.”
He couldn’t help but scoff at that, raising his cup to his lips. “Okay, I know it literally gets you off, but you don’t have to be so condescending. I’m not your– your sub, or whatever.”
Lawrence blinked impassively. “Would you like to be?” he asked frankly, and Adam choked on his coffee.

Inside the box was a camcorder. It was decent quality, he could tell, and clearly brand new, chirping cheerfully to life as he opened the viewfinder and automatically focused on his dresser across the room.
“Oh– uh, thank you.” He cleared his throat. “Really, Lawrence, thanks. It’s super sweet of you. But, um, I mostly do–”
“Still photography. I know.” There was a slight blush on Lawrence’s face now, too. His hand found Adam’s knee, his thumb rubbing little circles into his skin through his jeans. “Like I said, this is…well, it’s for both of us to enjoy.”
“Why’re you looking at me like–” It hit Adam very suddenly: his intense stare, the hand creeping up his leg, the camcorder he held in his hands. “Oh my God. Oh my God, Lawrence.”
“What?”
“You– you want to make a sex tape, don’t you?”

Bryan nearly gives Leon a heart attack when he lifts his shirt and shows a haphazardly stuffed handgun that's sticking out of the waistband of his jeans.
“Don't put that there,” Leon says hurriedly, willing his heart to calm down. He keeps imagining the horror of it going off and blowing clean through Bryan's femur. “And - hey, wait. That's a standard glock that's issued to all American officers. Did you steal that?”
Bryan at least has the decency to blush in embarrassment as he hastily shoves the hem of his shirt back down.
