Summary
Only a naive fool would believe that the Interrogator's unwelcome presence on Ekaterina Stubbs' voidship was due to a mutual interest in rooting out cult activity - or, even more laughably, an attempt to protect her, should the cult try to murder her like they murdered her predecessor. Far more likely that the Inquisition wanted to keep an eye on her, to see if she reached out to any of her old connections.
But if that was the case, why did Heinrix van Calox not make any formal accusations? Why did he willingly follow her into danger?
When he said her name, why did he say it with such strange softness?

But it was so gradual and tentative and soft that it felt like just a continuation of the way they held each other. Their mouths brushing in the darkness, then brushing again, and then tipping over into something else; breath mingling, skin sliding over shadowed skin. Felassan's mouth was warm and smoky and his hand stroked along Solas' jaw, his fingers trembling. It was blurred and yielding and shatteringly gentle, and Solas wanted to weep, but he could not because he was not supposed to be afraid.
Afterwards, they didn't speak of it. Nothing changed; and yet everything did.
(Solas x Felassan, set in an AU Thedas in a period roughly equivalent to WW1)

“Never answered my question, by the way,” Arthur added, looking to the stranger again. “Don’t think I ever caught your name.”
The stranger shook his head, exhaling smoke. “It doesn’t matter,” he answered, frankly. “To you, I’m just a Strange Man.”
Arthur grunted, taking another drag. “You’re certainly that,” he agreed, blowing out smoke again. “So—what, then? You comin’ to tell me I’m dead?”
The Strange Man looked out over the vale for a long moment. “Do you think you’re dead, Arthur?” he finally asked.

When a dying Arthur Morgan is given the chance to make a deal with a mysterious stranger in exchange for more time on earth, he uses his new lease on life to pursue the happiness he never could while still in the Van Der Linde Gang. But when the stranger comes to collect on his end of the deal, Arthur realizes the price for his new life may be more than he suspected… and far more than he ever bargained for.
