    Summary

    "Æternus" is a series that aims to explore the character of Severus Snape. It does so by saving his life just before he dies in the Shrieking Shack and placing him in situations that reveal more about his psychology. Each story explores his relationships with new, original characters as well as some of those in the canon. The series is one continuous story that starts during the war and ends exactly five years later. The plot of each story revolves around the original character that gives it its name, and can be summarised as follows:

    1. Omegas: Severus Snape finds himself a partner;
    2. Sylvia: Severus Snape finds himself having a daughter;
    3. Noah: Severus Snape finds himself being part of a family;
    4. Arcturus: Severus Snape finds himself having a son;
    5. Gregorius: Severus Snape finds himself having a father.

    All of my main OCs are queer and neurodivergent to some extent.

    The main plot revolves around the themes of death, grief and, of course, eternity. The ultimate goal of the entire series is to make Severus Snape happy (a feat that required no fewer than five longfics).

    I'm not eloquent enough to do this series justice, but I'm so glad to have read it! Great world building and original characters, loved the mysteries, and it was so nice to spend time in a story where Snape was not only content, but genuinely happy 💜

    After being struck by Nagini, Severus is positive he must be dead. Much to his surprise, though, he finds himself struggling to open his eyes, a figure approaching as he tries to make sense of what he's experiencing.

    He is saved in the Shrieking Shack by an impossible potion and an ambiguous woman, who turns out to be a bit too interested in the Dark Art, way too skilled in a duel and also clearly unstable.

    Meanwhile, the war is not over yet. The Order finds itself locked up at Hogwarts after the Death Eaters mysteriously retreat following Voldemort's orders.

    Severus is therefore locked in a school with the Golden Trio, a heavily traumatised Draco Malfoy, a suspicious woman he can't quite understand, and a war that still has to be won.

    What if, Snape x fem!OC (slow burn). First story of a series!
