He doesn’t tell Bruce afterwards because he’s decided to keep it and even though he tells himself he’s only keeping it just in case he needs it again, he knows that’s a lie. He doesn’t know why it’s a lie, but he can feel that it is.

Barbara could admit that she was a bit fucked up at times. It was hard not to be when you were a crime-fighting vigilante. She could attest to the fact that most of the bats were verifiably fucked up (their search histories confirmed it). Even wanting to become a vigilante was a sign that something was probably a little loony up in her brain. Add in the trauma and paranoia, and really, having her wires a little crossed should be the least of her psychiatric woes. However, it still took her an exceptionally long time to admit to herself that maybe she did like fighting with Starfire over dick. Call her a dirty pervert.
