The others insist that they need to go about this with caution — none of them want a repeat performance of what Sora has done; they all just want to go home — but Riku's link to Sora is the only one still working, even though almost half of their little group had gotten all close and cozy with Sora's heart. Said link creates a pit of anxiety in Riku’s chest that never quiets down, never sleeps, no matter how many times he paces the entire tower in the dead of night. It calls to him; sends adrenaline rushing through his veins until it takes every ounce of willpower he has to stay still; to trust his friends.
But everyone has a breaking point; and if his only remaining tie to Sora wants him to go, then Riku will happily comply.x

He would be staring out into the raining sky, life running out of him, while making peace with the fact that he would never see his first love again. If this were a different story, Zack would not be left empty-handed, crying out as his friend stumbles away into the remnants of a battlefield. He would not be praying for that blond head to turn, aching to capture the final sight of a cherished face before locking it behind two lids.
No, this does not feel like a fitting end to this story at all―and Zack overflows with the one childish thought that this is unbearably unfair. In the rare moments that he, as any soldier must, contemplated his death, he never imagined that he would die alone.

Three years into the Galactic Empire's reign and Anakin is on a mission for the Rebel Alliance to gather important intel from an Imperial outpost. An easy enough mission, really. Except, of course, nothing Anakin does is easy, and what he brings back instead is something far more valuable.
Obi-Wan Kenobi, war hero and Jedi Master, is a broken shell of the man he once was. After being Dooku's prisoner for Force knows how long, he has all but given up on life. That is until a boy he hadn't thought about in 17 years appears to give him the kick in the ass he needs to help save the Galaxy.
[ Or: the one in which Anakin is a Rebel pilot and Obi-Wan's got issues but decides to train Anakin as a Jedi anyway in the hope of bringing balance back to the Galaxy.]
