Summary
Keith gets a blessed 30 seconds where the only sound is his sword slashing through shrubbery before Lance decides to start up again. "You know what I don't understand?" He asks, his words drenched in incredulity.
"The desire for peace and quiet." Keith vaults over what he assumes is the equivalent of a fallen tree on this planet.
Lance ignores his response. "Why you came back so small and fragile and weak."
"Clearly, because I'm not whoever you think I am."
Or: Altean Lance holds a grudge against Human Keith for what he did in another lifetime as a Galran. Every time they enter their lions together, the lions replay old memories. Keith finds out more and more who Lance was to him and what exactly Keith did to make Lance hate him.

Summary
The townsfolk of Oakhurst were settling in nicely. The beacon in the town had been consecrated without issue, eleven of the thirteen wanderers feeling relief from their weariness as the warm glow washed over them. Despite the monster hoards, and Avid’s insistence on the existence of vampires, the people who wandered into this dump seemed to find some peace.
Which all changed when the man came from the river.

Summary
It all happened in a flash, one second everyone was standing there, and the next there was an echo of a sword clattering against the ground. One of the cloaked strangers had Scott caged against them, catching him off guard with a sharp blade pressed against his jugular and a panicked gasp at the threat of violence. Martyn's gun was out in an instant, the barrel pointed at the cloaked strangers head.
"I suggest you put your weapons down and cooperate or you'll be losing another one of your friends!"
The hooded figures voice boomed over the faction isles, but Martyn barely heard it. Red cloaked his vision, his eyes filled with rage where they fixated on the small trickle of blood that started to run down Scott's neck. He struggled against their hold, causing the blade to push deeper into the open wound.
When Martyn gets his hands on them they'll wish they never step foot onto this island.

Summary
In search of a bloodless end to the war, impossible as it may be, the cure seems to offer an answer to all of the the humans' prayers. Holy water, a purified beacon, and a few choice words are all that it takes to cure vampirism from the infected parties—whether they want it or not. Rolling back the clock in a single moment.
Literally rolling back the clock, that is to say. The cure undoes more than just the vampirism, instead bringing the person to back to before they ever even met their Sire. Physically and mentally.
The fight might be bloodless, but it is no less a struggle to be faced with the people who did so much harm; now stripped of their crimes, their memories, and their entire lives. Can the humans of Oakhurst look into the clueless faces of Scott and Owen and find something innocent within? And can Scott and Owen live with the hundreds of years that they lost?
—
Scott and the other vampires are de-aged by the cure, and lose various amounts of time from their memories and bodies. It causes as many issues as it fixes.
