Whitebeard sinks down to his knees, his last remaining bit of hope destroyed. Now they don't even have a body for a funeral. He knows he has to pull himself together, be strong for the crew, for his family. But right now he just can't.
Then the oddest thing happens. The clothes start moving. Everyone freezes, too afraid to move, too afraid to even breathe. All they can do is stare at the wiggling pile of Marco's clothes, waiting.
A tiny blue head pops out with a peep. There's a baby bird in Marco's clothes???

Growing up, Izou hadn't believed he'd be able to find his soulmate, so he didn't give it much thought. His parents weren't soulmates. Finding your soulmate wasn't really all that common where he lived. Maybe other parts of Wano had an easier time with it, but even after he and Kiku joined Oden, people around them didn't talk about it.

Are fire baths a thing maybe? He considers the possibilities as he towels himself off and slips on the fancy silk robe the servants insist he use; though to be fair it is rather pretty, golden fabric with red and orange hibiscus flowers on it.
