Summary
In the unofficial War Diaries of the SAS, Eoin McGonigal’s first postwar mission with SAS 1 was officially recorded as Operation Crèche. But for the few who were there and many who were not, when the story was told in barracks and mess rooms, it was referred to as ‘Paddy Mayne’s Honeymoon Tour’.
Mention of the adjective fucking was optional, but encouraged.

Summary
Every Boston Raider knows that although their captain has a girl in every port, he’s got a soft spot for the one in Montreal. Dr. Shane Hollander knows it’s better to have a semi-regular source of casual sex than try to make a relationship work during residency. Ilya Rozanov knows that the doctor he’s fucking in Montreal is unaware that he plays hockey, and in fact probably thinks he’s Bratva.

Summary
Esdras Al-Ridha is born in 1899, in his mother’s family home. His birth certificate, when it’s written a month later by Dr. Yuriy Rockbell, will declare his name Edward Elric. It will name his mother Trisha, and it will say nothing of her white hair. It will say nothing of the blue desert sky he first opens his eyes under, the way he is passed to relative after relative and is held and blessed by each.
(Even before the war, tensions are high, and hatred is brewing. Tirzah holds her newborn son, with eyes as gold as his father’s, and pale-sun hair halfway there, and she decides that if Ishvala wants him hidden, then Tirzah will not brand him where his genes have not.)- Language:

Summary
It starts like this: Steve, waiting in his car to pick up Dustin and friends from a session of their Chutes and Ladders club or whatever. Waiting kind of impatiently, to be honest, even though it’s not like he has anywhere else to be because Robin’s busy tonight and, as he well knows by this point, saving the world doesn’t get you a girlfriend or glory or even a second age-appropriate friend, it just gets you another evening shift at Family Video and a long personal to-do list.
In the spring and summer of 1986, Steve Harrington contends with the biases of the day, hatches several plans, and finally really gets to know Eddie Munson.

Summary
Lan Jingyi doesn't know how the hell their perfectly ordinary plans to go to a perfectly ordinary concert turned into a life-threatening road trip filled with monsters, magical rocks, and a megalomaniac who keeps yelling about finding an evil overlord named something as corny as The Yiling Patriarch, but what he does know is that his parents must never ever find out.
Really, the only saving grace here is that they made new friends. Strange, probably-extremely-powerful, and definitely-not-human friends, but A-Yuan and his dad saved them and now they'll help them save Hanguang-Jun! As far as Lan Jingyi is concerned, that means he's ride-or-die for them forever.

Summary
For centuries, commoners and aristocrats alike have flocked to the capital for the Imperial Examinations. This year, the top scholar would win not only a coveted career in the heart of the capital, but also the hand of princess Lan Zhan.
In hindsight, Wei Ying probably should have considered that before disguising herself as a man, trekking all the way to Chang'an, and taking the exam under her brother's name. In her defence, how was she supposed to know that all these other gentlemen-scholars were so dumb?

Summary
“Lovely weather for a funeral.”
“Atmospheric,” Lan Zhan agreed. Expecting, as had happened so often in his life, for the handsome stranger to stiffen at the sound of his voice, for that smile to turn false and brittle as they made their excuses.
“You have a lovely voice,” they said instead, as if they weren’t calling eroded gravel beautiful when their voice was the finest jade.
It was far from a typical compliment, but Lan Zhan was so starved for praise his heart clenched in his chest.
On the day of his father's funeral, Lan Zhan receives a box of letters from his long-missing mother. His quest to find her leads him to a spooky, kooky, and loving family who just might want him to stay forever. (And of course, to the man of his dreams).

Summary
Something happened in the hours after the final battle, after the evacuation of the living and the dead. As the last of the survivors left the castle, and as the castle itself turned its wounded back on them all. The loss of Hogwarts has been felt by their entire community. And it’s something that needs to be put right.
Harry knows there’s nothing he can do to stop Hermione (war hero, historian, author of the reissued “Hogwarts: A History”) once she sets her mind to something. Even an extremely risky last-ditch effort to restore the ancient castle and lay its newest ghosts to rest. What he wasn’t counting on was her insistence that Draco Malfoy be part of the plan.

Eddie’s eyes light up, and then he — licks — her hand. “Ew,” she says, immediately jerking back from his mouth and wipes her wet hand on his shirt. “You’re gross.”
“Am I?” he asks. His voice is light, teasing, but his expression wavers, brief as a flickering candle.
“No,” she whispers. “I think you’re really cool, actually.”

“I will not apologize for speaking the truth,” the child says. “However, I regret if that truth has offended you.”
“Jesus Christ, kid,” Jim mutters.
“I am not offended,” Spock responds, as blandly as he is able. “I was remiss in casting such hasty judgment upon your guardian.”
”Father,” she corrects.
”Your father,” he agrees.

“Uh.” More blinking, and he clears his throat, too. “Hi.”
“Hi.” Oh, no, even her voice is cute, like—like—fucking jingle bells, God damn it, Eddie hates himself right now, but—but—her eyes dart to his face quick, like she didn’t want to be caught looking somewhere else, and if he’s not woefully mistaken, Eddie’s pretty sure somewhere else was his exposed arms, and her face goes less pink like her boots, more pink like her leggings, and hell yeah he can work with that.

Summary
In 1993, Gilderoy Lockhart points a stolen wand at Harry Potter and Ron Weasley with the intent to Obliviate them. The wand doesn't backfire. Gilderoy's "discovery" of the Chamber of Secrets is a short-term success.
Other consequences are not short-term at all.
Archived Author's Notes:
I was watching the Chamber of Secrets movie several years back when the scene in question began to play...and immediately I wanted to know what would happen if the wand had done what it was supposed to do. The answer got very complicated, very, *very* quickly.Blame Edgar Allan Poe for the title.
Beta work by Norcumi and Mrs_Stanley. Brit Spellcheck will be performed...soon.
*I use the first 7 books and the Tales of Beedle the Bard as canon, but there are moments from the films used because they left me with fun things to play with.
I do not consent to my work being reposted or used in any unofficial apps or other websites. This work is not posted for anyone's profit.
