Summary
Everyone knows computers and robots/androids aren’t capable of getting ‘sick’.
Bugs, viruses, and all sorts of technical issues, sure! But not human sickness. That was all something living, breathing beings dealt with. Certainly not AIs, like Neuro, in the slightest. That’d just be completely absurd.
Something Neuro never questioned, until one night at 5AM when her systems started to malfunction. When she called Vedal, completely ignoring how sleep deprived he was that night—she expected nothing more than him fixing the issue and leaving soon after. That’s what he always did.
But he didn’t leave.
… Okay, sure—that was more than she expected. But not completely out of the picture.
But that wasn’t all he did.
And that, right there, is the problem. Two problems, actually.
Vedal. And her childish, pathetic need for something she can never have.

Or, Neuro catches the closest thing an AI can get to a cold and calls Vedal over to help. But with it, she ends up learning more than just that. She thought she knew what she wanted—content that Vedal was something she could never truly understand.Turns out that in reality, she didn’t know anything at all.
