“Whuuuuuu….” Mort dropped his doritos. This was not his front porch. This was…a bus stop. He turned around to flee back inside, but there was no door and no house, just a huge crowd and a sign that said SCHOOL BUS STOP. SCHOOL BUSES FOR SALE.
He thought of blaming the fairy, but realized the fairy must have been part of his dream. And so was this, for that matter.
He crouched and grabbed his doritos, intending to stand up with them. But he decided that was too much work, so he lay down on the concrete and ate doritos. He could do whatever he wanted. He was dreaming.
Suddenly he was kicked in the head.OR,
Mort Rainey is bored of writing. While singing to himself to liven up his day, he accidentally summons a cranky orange-and-purple fairy who offers him one wish.

Summary
Mort Rainey gained a lot of reputation in his hometown Tashmore. Good and bad. His wife cheated on him, he lost his house and inspiration to write. Still in the middle of his heated divorce, a woman roams around town, asking more and more people questions about the author living far in the forest behind Tashmore lake. Ones that let her look just a little too nosy. Rainey turns to take action.
And kidnaps her.(Violent content, mental health problems included, trigger warning for gore and future sexual content.)

I am trying to stay true to the canon depiction of him as much as I can, but for the sake of the fic I did in some places have to alter his behaviour in small bits here and there.
