Summary
This world of Remnant is full of life, that of civilization and that of nature. A world so vast and full needs caretakers and these caretakers need protectors.
In this world there is Aura, life itself. There are Sourcerers, who draw upon it. There are Guardians, who are empowered by it.
And there are those that seek to use it to further their own ends. When the aura wellsprings began to be corrupted on a widespread scale can the problem be fixed before irreversible damage is done to all who dwell within Remnant?

Summary
Ruby gives into her conscience and hands the Relic of Knowledge over to Ironwood, telling him that he can ask a question of Jinn, the spirit within the Lamp. This begins a chain of events that will lead our heroes around the world of Remnant in search of powerful Relics, from the depths of the ocean to the most remote jungles and deserts, and to uncovering secrets even the gods know nothing about.
Rated somewhere around T for the first 57 chapters. After that, I'll have individual warnings on chapters for spicy content.

That's what I heard all my life. But they never talk about those left behind, the ones that have to suffer as their loved ones sacrifice themselves. Their sacrifices are expected… but I reject this notion. I would forge a new way, one without needless death.
Years I spent searching for it. The secrets of aura, Faunus biology, even the sacred powers in those with silver eyes. None of them gave me what I needed, until I had an epiphany. If none of them could help me, maybe I could use all of them to create a hero unlike anything Remnant had ever seen, strong enough to stand against the darkness of this broken world.
And so I created the first Halo Faunus: Ruby Rose.
She was everything I hoped for and more. A prodigy born from team STRQ that would have the strength to protect this world and be a shining beacon for those without hope.
I had found the answer, and Remnant would finally be free of death and despair.
