Blake Belladonna: "in the past 4 months, our home Remnant has fallen to a virus called, the Feast. This virus dust has turned our people into rotting living corpses with a unstoppable hunger for flesh and blood. This outbreak has scarred us badly both physically and mentally, we didn't feel same anymore from all the carnage we witnessed and endured. We've lost many people to the virus, even our friends and family. Even our own best friends, Weiss, Yang, and our leader..Ruby Rose. Now is just us, having to survive this zombie infested and all i know is. Those sons of bitchs, Salem and Cinder had something to do with this, and we will make them pay for what they've done to our world as it's people".
Day 133
A Bullhead multi-role VTOL aircraft emerges from the clouds, heading for the city of Atlas and lands in the deserted road. Sun Wukong exits the aircraft and finds the city completely abandoned, crashed and deserted decrepit cars, trucks and bikes strewn about and several crashed and destroyed Atlesian Dropships and Manta Atlesian military aircrafts sitting abandoned and some crashed into buildings and some others on fire.
Sun: "Hello? Hello? Can anyone hear ne? If you can hear me, call out?"
Sun continues to wander the deserted streets gazing at the decrepit buildings until he eventually comes across Pietro's Pharmacy which now sits abandoned, the windows are completely shattered and the door looked like it had been smashed open and had been broken of it's hinges. Sun enters the abandoned pharmacy and finds some food, medication, first aid kits and a damaged, and when he picks up the scroll and tries to use it to contact his friends, he realizes that it doesn't work anymore.
Sun: "Damn it."
He then discards the scroll and exits the abandoned pharmacy with his newly found supplies and then hears the shrieks of a Ravager Grimm growing closer and hides under an abandoned two-tone brown and gold/tan squarebody pickup truck and waits until the Ravager dissappears into the clouds and crawls out from under the truck. After a grueling 1 hour of trying to find his friends or survivors, Sun decides to give up and walk back to the Bullhead VTOL so he can fly back to Vacuo, but as he approaches the VTOL aircraft, a fireball comes out of the fog and strike the aircraft, causing it to explode and the force of the blast sends Sun flying back and drop his weapon Ruyi Bang and Jingu Bang and his supplies to spill out of his bag. Sun gets back up and grabs his weapon and merges his two guns into staff form.
Sun: "*groaning in pain* WHO DID THAT! WHOEVER YOU ARE?! COME OUT, RIGHT NOW YOU PIECE OF SHIT SON OF A BITCH! IF YOU DON'T I WILL FORCE YOU TO SHOW YOURSELF!"
Then that's when Cinder Fall reveals herself hovering over the now destroyed and burning VTOL and lands and slowly struts towards Sun and Sun slowly stumbles back. Neopolitan emerges from the smokecloud gliding with her Hush parasol and lands beside Cinder, Mercury then shows up front the 5th floor window of a 5 story building and joins Cinder and Neo.
Sun: "WHERE ARE MY FRIENDS?! WHAT DID YOUR LEADER'S ABOMINATIONS DO TO THEM?! I NEED TO KNOW WHERE THEY ARE! THAT'S WHY I'M HERE! TO FIND MY FRIENDS SO I CAN HELP THEM!
Cinder chuckles as she begins to monologue about what happened to the others.
Cinder: "You're just too late, they're all dead. Everyone you've love and respected is dead. Your friend Blake is gone, she's somewhere you will never find her and now you and missing friends will join the rest in hell"
This monologue causes Sun to go into shock, he collapses to his knees clenching to his staff as tears streak down his face and onto the ground as he begins to descend into a fit of grief induced rage.
Sun: "No. No. NOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!! THEY CAN'T BE GONE!!!!! *cries and groans* I'M GONNA FUCKING KILL YOU FOR WHATEVER YOU DID TO THEM! YOU HEAR ME!"
The four get into an intense fight, Sun lunges at the three but they all dodge his attack and attack him back. Cinder summons a bow and three arrows she fires at Sun, Sun deflects the arrows and uses his "Via Sun" semblance to attack three enemies at one, with his clones fighting Neo and Mercury while he fights Cinder. Sun hits Cinder repeatedly with his staff before splitting his weapon into it's lever action shotgun nunchaku form and shoots at Cinder who deflects his shots and melee attacks with her daggers. Cinder kicks Sun across the street and throws a fireball at him and as the smoke cleared, the three noticed that he's gone and start searching for him, not knowing he's hiding behind an abandoned crashed anaconda gold 2-door coupe muscle car. As they search for him, Sun accidently knocks the car's passenger side door mirror, causing it to break as it impacted the pavement and gives him away. Cinder hears the noise and approaches the gold t-top, grabbing it and chucking it aside with her Shadow Hand but realizes that Sun has dissapeared. Sun had ran into the apartment building and hiding on the 6th floor. Cinder slowly flies up, looking through the windows of each floor.
Cinder: "Come out come out wherever you are you monkey faunus asshole."
That's when Sun comes crashing through the 6th story window and he and Cinder plummet to the ground bellow. Just as Sun is about to finish off Cinder, he's whacked in the face by Neo who then stabs him in the side with the blade of her paraol. Sun winces in pain as he looks at his wound. Cinder then punches and kicks Sun in the face before grabbing him by the neck with her Shadow hand, lifts him up and brings him closer. She summons a dagger and puts it against Sun neck and prepares to slit his throat open.
Cinder: "Look who's about to go to hell now. You'll never see your lost friends again and they'll never see you again."
Sun: "*coughs* You're a fucking irredeemable freak."
Cinder: You're about to die at the hands of a fall maiden...."
Then a big fire projectile comes out of nowhere and hits Cinder, Neo and Mercury in the back, knocking both them and Sun to the ground. Sun gets up and looks at the fog and sees the silhouettes of Yang, Weiss, Coco, Velvet, Fox and Yatsuhashi appear through the fog and Sun is overjoyed to see his friends alive and well.
Sun: "Yang, Weiss, Team CFVY. Oh ho, you three and very damn screwed now."
Cinder: "What the?"
The silhouetted Yang, Weiss and Team CFVY attack Cinder, Neo and Mercury from all directions and Cinder, Neo and Mercury fight back and in the attack, they are drenched in fog to where they are no longer visable and are only shown in silhouettes from flashes of light. Sun cheers his friends on as they battle against Cinder, Neo and Mercury.
Sun: "YEAH, WOOOO!!! GET EM GUYS!!! KICK THEIR ASSES!!! WOOOO, YEAH, WHOO HOOO!!!"
As the unseen battle goes on, the sound becomes more disturbing with the sounds of biting, ripping of flesh, paranormal sounding groaning, hissing and grunting and Cinder and Mercury's screams of pain. Sun's overjoyed feeling is short-lived as he starts realizing something isn't right.
Sun: "Uh, guys? That kind of sounds like overkill."
As the fog slowly clears up. Yang stands up with her back turned, her head and arms twitching and making raspy gutteral growling sounds. Her body appears to be covered in red stains in which Sun slowly recognizes to be blood and notices that the back of her jacket is torn open and what appears to be a spine poking out. Then Yang turns around, revealing that she's been turned into a living corpse. He skin a pale green color and her eyes yellow, her mouth now lacking lips, leaving her yellow teeth exposed and pieces of flesh missing and bone showing underneath.
Sun: "WHOA! What the hell's happened to you?!?!"
Then Weiss, Coco, Fox, Velvet and Yatsuhashi reveal their zombified selves, the zombified Velvet appears to be eating flesh which make Sun gag and sick to his stomach almost to the point of vomitting.
Zombie Yang: "Fresh braaaaaaaiiiiiinnnnsss. Muuuuuust eeeeeeeaaaaaatttahhhhh."
Sun: "Wh....What's happened to you guys?! Guys it's me! Sun Wukong! Don't you remember?! We're friends right. You guys know me, I..I'm not food."
But his pleas are ignored and the zombie huntsmen and huntresses charge and attack Sun but Sun manages to grab his weapon and starts deflecting their attacks all the while trying to get through to their mindset but to no avail. The zombies continue to attack him with no signs of stopping. Eventually, zombie Weiss slashes Sun across the chest with her Myrtenaster and Sun grabs at his chest in pain and looks down at the deep cut across his chest. Sun punches zombie Weiss off him and tries to get through her mindset again but again to no avail, he is then grabbed by zombie Yang and chucked through the windshield of a vintage white & red tailfin atlesian hearse. Sun hides as the zombie huntresses search for him and ultimately find him in the hearse and start ripping off the doors with their supernatural super-human strength and zombie Yatsuhashi cuts a hole in the roof with his sword, grabs Sun by the neck and chucks him onto the pavement. As the zombie are about to chow down of the poor monkey faunus, a demonic zombie like shriek starts echoing through the city, causing building and car windows to shatter frequentcy, the zombies and Sun to cover their ears from the loud shriek until the sound stops and Sun looks to see where the shriek was coming and is horrified by what he sees. A now zombified Cinder, Neo and Mercury stand up and charge at him.
Sun: "Shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit! I gotta get out of here!"
Sun grabs his weapons and supplies and starts booking down the road as the zombies chase after him. As he runs down the road, he starts shooting at the zombies but they deflect his shots as they chase Sun through the streets, zombie Cinder flies over Sun, lands in front of him, extends her shadow hand arm to grab him by the neck and toss him across the street and into a crashed small Manta where she pins him against.
Zombie Cinder: I'm done chasing my prey! Now we are gonna eat you down to the fucking bone until there nothing left of you."
The zombies then prepare to lunge at Sun and eat him alive, and as they are about to eat them, Sun closes his eyes and prays that it'll be over and begs for his life.
Sun: "Please, please, please, please no, guys no i know you, you're my friends. YOU CAN'T DO THIS!!! THIS ISN'T YOU!!!! PLEASE LET THIS BE OVVVEEEEERRRRR!!!"
The zombies: "BRRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAIIIIIIINNNNNSSSS *zombie roar*"
Familier Voice: "STAY!!!!!"
Right as the zombies lunge at Sun to eat, Sun opens his eyes and is in shock to see zombie Yang, zombie Weiss, zombie Coco, zombie Fox, zombie Velvet, zombie Yatsuhasi, zombie Cinder, zombie Neo and zombie Mercury frozen meer inches from Sun.
Sun: *gasp* Holy shi.. *panting* What?! What the fuck? How? How are they frozen?
As Sun stumbles back in fright from seeing the zombies now frozen in place and picks up his weapon and supplies, he sees two figures appear from the fog and aims his guns at them and starts yelling at them.
Sun: "HEY! WHOEVER YOU ARE, I NEED TO KNOW YOU ARE NOT A FLESH EATING CORPSE LIKE THEM!!! IF YOU'RE AN UNDEAD FREAK, I WILL SHOOT YOU, I'M NOT KIDDING!!
The two figures reveal themselves to be non-other then Blake Belladonna and member of Ace-Ops Marrow Amin.
Sun: "Blake?!"
Blake: "Sun?!"
Sun is overjoyed to see his friend Blake alive and well after 4-months and goes to hug her and Blake is relieved to see her old friend alive too.
Marrow: "Well. I see she's your friend mr. Wukong. My names Marrow Amin, member of Ace-Ops."
Sun: "Uh..Yes, that's me Sun Wukong. Nice to meet you Marrow Amin. What's wrong with Yang and the others."
Blake and Marrow turn to face the frozen zombie huntresses Sun pointed at when he questioned what's wrong with the huntresses and why are they acting strange and look like corpses. That's when Blake explains what happened over the past 4 months.
Blake: "In the past 4-months, Atlas and every kingdom on Remnant had fallen to a virus dust people called, the Feast Virus. The feast virus is a deadly virus like dust that turns people who become infected by it, into living flesh hungry corpses. Now we have to survive this zombie infested hellfest, scavenging for food, supplies and other things to survive the hell hole, our friends became one of those undead abominations and our friend, Ruby has never been seen again since Penny and the others tried to create a cure but non of our attempts were successful.
Sun is shellshocked by this revelation Marrow puts his hand on his shoulder and ensures that it's gonna be okay. Blake reaches into her dufflebag and grabs out two syringes containing Propofol, a sedative usually used to knock people unconscious for surgery. As she goes to sedate the zombified Yang and Weiss, zombie Yang grabs her hand and her eyes turn to look at Blake's eyes with tears streaking down, a sign that Yang's pleading for Blake to help her and the others and Blake places her hand on Zombie Yang's cheek as a way to comfort her zombified crush.
Zombie Yang: "Blaaaaaaakkkkkeee. Heeelllppp usssss, pleeeeeaaasssse. *raspy breathing & sobbing* I can't.....take....it..any..more."
Blake: "Don't worry Yang. We'll help you. I promise."
Blake sedates both zombie Yang and zombie Weiss and Sun and Marrow are tasked with carrying zombie Weiss while she carries zombie Yang. Marrow then points out that the zombies are slowly starting to unfreeze, the effects of his semblance are starting wear off and eventually Blake, Marrow and Sun start running down the road towards a familier place Sun has never been too, the Schnee family's manor. Marrow exclaims that the Schnee manor is where Weiss' family resided in before the whole Feast Virus outbreak. As the round the corner, Blake hears a familier whooshing sound and familier red petals falling from the sky, looks back, stops and looks up at where those petals are coming from and that's when she sees a hooded figure standing on the rooftop of an abandoned apartment complex holding a familier looking scythe. The hooded figure aims it's scythe at Blake and starts shooting at the three survivors who take cover behind a nearby dumpster. Blake peeks her head out to see the figure still standing there and waiting for it's "prey" then takes out her Gambol Shroud and shoots at the figure and the figure delfects the gunshots with it's scythe, allowing the three to continue running. Blake looks back and glares at the figure one last time before the figure is covered by a thick fog cloud.
Marrow and Sun: "BLAKE, COME ON!"
After a minute of the three running, the three stop to catch there breath and start looking for some vehicles they can hotwire and use to head back to the manor.
Blake: "*exhausted breathing* I... *exhausted breathing* Think we need some transport to get us to the manor."
Marrow: "How? Non of the vehicles in this area appear to be drivable"
Sun: "Hey, found something that can get us to the manor."
That's when Sun finds some old abandoned Grimmslayer brand chopper motorcycles with sidecars attached to them. Blake and Marrow then start hotwiring the bikes while Sun crosses his fingers hoping the bikes will fire up.
Sun: "Please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please."
*Bikes fireup*
Sun: "YES!"
Blake and Sun place the unconscious zombie Yang and zombie Weiss in the sidecars, hop on the bikes and continue their journey back to the manor. As they ride their bikes, Sun looks around mindlessly at the abandoned buildings and cars and that's when he catches a glimpse of what appears to be a rushing, swirling cloud of dark red rose petals that dissappears. Sun then goes back to staring off at the street as the three head to the manor with their zombie friends in the sidecars.
Meanwhile, at the Land of Darkness, zombie Cinder, zombie Neo and zombie Mercury arrive via ride on Nevermore at a cave that goes underground. When they approach the entrance, dark blackish red crystals with a pulsing red glow protruding from the walls and ceiling of the cave, that's when a massive army of zombies and Grimm appear, their glowing yellow eyes piercing through the darkness. Then a zombified Hazel Rainart appears and approaches the the zombified fall maiden and her zombified henchmen.
Zombie Hazel Rainart: "Lord Salem. *gutteral zombie growl* She, wants a word, with you.
He then motions them to follow him in which they do after he orders the zombies and Grimm to make way and form a path for them. As they walk down the cave, the zombies and Grimm glare at them with really wide eyes as they growl, groan and moan at them. Zombie Cinder is understandably disgusted by the zombies staring at them and she sees a zombified Arthur Watts and zombified versions of the other member of Ace-Ops, Clover, Harriet, Elm and Vine. They enter a giant more open area of the cave that's surrounded by Atlas Soldier zombies acting as guards. A moat of Grimm liquid surrounds Salem's thrown, and feast virus crystals circle the walls and ceiling. Zombie Cinder looks up and sees Salem on her throne, her body drenched in silhouette except for her glowing red eyes.
Zombie Cinder: "What is that you want to talk about?"
Salem doesn't respond and only seems to glare at her menancingly, and this makes Cinder angry and infuriated.
Zombie Cinder: "If you're not gonna talk. THEN I'LL EAT YOUR FUCKING GRIMM BRAINS OUT!!!! *Zombie shriek*"
Cinder goes to lunge but is then grabbed by zombie Hazel and thrown down to the ground where she's then pinned down by a zombie Tyrian Callows. Zombie Cinder then grabs zombie Tyrian by the neck and uses her Scorching Caress semblance to make the zombie scorpion faunus back off.
Zombie Tyrian Callows: *raspy demonic zombie grunt* You undead maiden prick! Let's see how it feels when i..*
Salem: "That's enough!"
Salem breaks up the fight and stands up and starts talking to zombie Cinder, zombie Neo and zombie Mercury about her new motive about killing any remaining un-infected survivors so the Grimm and zombies can take over Remnant as the new dominant species.
Zombie Cinder: "Do you have any idea what those zombie huntresses do to us?!"
Salem didn't respond and instead seem to put them under some mind control as her emblem appears on their foreheads except zombie Cinder who isn't phased by what Salem's doing and they bow before her as well as all the other zombies.
Zombies: "Lord Salem. We live, to serve you, and Grimm. Those who turn on us are traitors. The un-turned are our arch enemies. Long live the undead, the Grimm, and Salem."
After recruiting her now zombie servants as mind controlled servants, Salem decides to offer zombie Cinder her own army of zombies.
Salem: "Cinder, perhaps i would like to offer you an undead army of your own."
Zombie Cinder: "What do you mean?"
Salem: "Your own small army devoted to your own loyalty and is also loyal to mine. Together we can rule this entire world and destroy every kingdom in Remnant."
Zombie Cinder: "Yes, my queen."
A small group of zombies including zombie Tyrian, zombie Arthur, zombie Neo, zombie Mercury, zombie Tock and zombie Adam Taurus approach zombie Cinder and bow to her to show their new found loyalty and devotion to her and her emblem briefly flashes on their forehead.
Back at Atlas, the three arrive at the Schnee Manor which has been fortified to withstand zombies and Grimm, Blake announces her and Marrow's presecence and says they've found one of their friends Sun and confirms they've captured two zombies. The gates open and the three carry the unconscious zombies into the manor, when the doors open, they are greeted by Nora, Jaune and Emerald who are glad to see them, Nora is overjoyed to see Sun alive and well too, they are also shocked to see who were the zombies they've caught.
Nora: "Is that Yang and Weiss? What on Remnant has the virus done to them?!"
Blake: "A lot Nora. We'll put them in the plexiglass cage in Weiss' room with Winter."
As Jaune and Nora take zombie Yang and Weiss into Weiss' room, Sun is introduced to Penny, Emerald, Ilia, Robyn, May, Fiona, Joanna, the Cotta-Arcs, James and Olive hanging around. Penny introduces herself to Sun and she shows him around the fortified Schnee manor and their new survival vehicle and says that Nora gave it the name "ZOMBINATOR" as noted by the word ZOMBINATOR written on the bumper in red spraypaint. Penny shows the progress they've made such as installing the tires, turret, seats, rebuilding and fixing the suspension, attaching the bumpers, getting the electronics working and installing the bumper. The last thing that they're finishing up is the drivetrain. Sun is suprised by the look of the engine and vehicle in general and that's when he starts questioning Penny as to how Blake is able to fix up and restore a vehicle she's never driven before and how they found the SUV.
Sun: "Wait? How is Blake able to restore a behemonth like this? She's never even driven a vehicle like once, and how did you guys find this beast?"
Penny answers.
Penny: "Oh, i taught her how based on some repair manuals and me and Marrow helped her as well as the others. We found in the vehicle in the city of Mantle sitting abandoned on the side of the road, it didn't have any wheels and it's drivetrain was damaged.
Later that evening, everyone settles down for dinner. As they eat, Sun hears moaning from upstairs and goes up to Weiss' room, to find zombie Yang, zombie Weiss and zombie Winter Schnee sleeping in a plexiglass cage. He approaches the glass cage. He approaches the cage and places his hand on the glass where Weiss is resting her head on as if he's placing his hand on her for comfort.
Sun: "Weiss, if you can hear me. I'm sorry for what you're going through. I've known you since we met in Vale, we met at the dock and the prom and you trusted me to leave your injured teammates despite your obvious dislike of me. You might know this but, *sigh* i've been having a crush on you since prom. I've been talking to my teammates about how one day i can to go on a date with you. I even brought you a lilium candidum white lily flower and i thought you like it."
Yet as he confessed his romantic feelings for her, Weiss remained asleep. Sun decides to leave the flower on the small dresser by Weiss' bed.
Sun: *sigh* "Okay. I'll leave this here by your bed and if you see it, you know that it's from me though you problably won't because your minds all fogged up, but hopefully we can find a way to cure you and the others. Love you Weiss."
Sun then kisses Weiss through the glass and goes back downstairs, not noticing Weiss slightly moving her fingers and shedding a tear. As he walks down the stairs, Blake is standing by the railing after reacognizing Sun had left to see what the noise was.
Blake: "checking on them."
Sun: "Yeah, how did you find and capture Winter."
Blake: *sad sigh* During the 122nd day of the outbreak, me, Jaune, Nora and Bianca found her feasting on a body and that's when she saw us and attacked us. She put up a fight but we had the upper hand. That is until we realized she had gained the winter maiden's powers and that's when we learned that she got them from Penny, she bit down on Penny and absorbed them from her thus becoming an undead winter maiden. Her powers allowed her to regain the upperhand, and at that point i thought we were all done for. That was, until Penny swooped in and saved us, she flung Winter into a building, which was enough to knock her out cold and we took her back to the manor and put her the plexiglass cage Penny built."
Soon after, everyone heads of to sleep. Sun is trying to find a room to sleep and that's when he goes into Weiss' room to find Blake on her knees, her head and hand placed against the glass and tears shedding down her face. He approaches Blake and caresses her back to comfort her.
Sun: "You doing okay?"
Blake: *sniffs and wipes away tears* "Yes, i just missed Yang so much, i promise that we'll find a way to cure them and eventually ever single person on Remnant and to make sure that Salem fucker will pay for what she has done to our world and it's people."
After a moment of comfort. The two decide to sleep in Weiss' bed for now. As they drifted off to sleep, Blake looks at the four zombie huntresses one more time before closing her eyes and falling asleep not noticing Yang shedding tears and whispering one word.
Zombie Yang: *whispering* "Blake."
