After the arrest of Trent Ikithon, Ludinus Da'leth arrives at the Lavish Chateau, bringing along with him an unfamiliar elf who claims to be a victim of a Dynasty attack. The Mighty Nein is sceptical of the elf's intentions and begins to dig into his story, uncovering pieces of information that don't quite add up. Unfortunately for Caleb, he can't quite help but be charmed by Desran Thane, despite his mysterious circumstances. Of course, it's never wise to fall for a professional courtesan.
