Buster Williams, a commander of the second division of the support army, and Fang Zhao, vice-admiral of the No.3 marine section, meet at an important meeting at the headquarters. The United States suspects that sooner or later they will have to intervene in the Great War. The militia clarified to its patriots that if needed, they would go to support the Triple Entente Alliance.
Buster and Fang get along very well. A year passes and they fall in love, but they hide it from everyone as they are afraid of the consequences it will arise. The United States entered the war in 1917, separating the men to join the war. A promise is made, they will survive and come back from war to retire and live happily without any regrets.
Will they be able to keep their promise?

Mal resumen, pero es un intento de mucho fluff con una pizca de drama para terminar con un final feliz (y una excusa para escribir a Buster celoso)
