Summary
Charlie grunted in surprise as she was grabbed by the hood of her sweatshirt and slammed against one of the huge garbage cans lining the outside wall of the building. Pim cried out in shock and wasted no time in pleading for Charlie’s life.
The man’s eyes were wide and manic; clearly excited by the pleading of Pim’s voice, and the fear in Charlie’s expression.
The gun returned to Charlie’s head, this time under her chin. Charlie couldn’t even process much of the position she was in before a white blur pummeled the man to the ground.
Charlie fell too. Her head was slammed against the garbage can, making her vision spin.
“Fuck…” Charlie muttered in pain.
She can hear a piercing scream coming from a woman, but she didn’t recognize it as Pim. NOW there’s witnesses? Are they just standing there screaming?“Pim…?” Charlie called out to her weakly. She began crawling towards the noise and fought back a horrified scream.
Already dirtied in a deep crimson, her white button-up shirt was soaked in blood. EVERYTHING was soaked in blood. Her light brunette hair hung at chin-length. It had fallen out of its place, and chunks of bloody flesh hung from the loose strands.

What a contrast. Both of them are pretty calm, it's just that whenever Pim saw Charlie, it was always him wearing this intense look on his face. It sort of unnerved him, and he wants to make his first—first actual impression—a good one. That maybe, if he manages to reach into the hearts of his people, he can reach into Charlie's too.
