But still, his thoughts betrayed him—

She couldn’t breathe. The air between them was suffocating, thick with anger, lust, and shame. He leaned in closer, voice dropping to a hoarse whisper.
“If you’re gonna act like some weird-ass deviant in public, you better learn to hide it better, freak.”
Then, he stepped back. Like he hadn’t just torn open every inch of her composure, and left her there, breathless, trembling, and aching. His thoughts echoed behind him as he walked away.

Despite the usual contempt of frustration that came with defeat, Katsuki felt something else. Something foreign. Something new.

His pulse pounded in his ears. He clenched his fists but the distinct anger that he used to cling to faded away into nothing but a single thought running rampant through his head.

BNHA AU, Bakugo x OC, Slow Burn, Slice of Life, Pro Hero!Characters, Crack & Angst, Growing Up, Trigger Warnings: Trauma, PTSD, Anxiety, Self-esteem Issues, Angery babies being Angery, ANGST,This is like, the most convoluted fluff fic I've read in some time. And I like it so much. I love the characterizations and how they're so consistent all throughout the fic even with account the character development gradually happening. I love how the vast majority of the fic came from Katsuki's POV and we get a front row seat of his thought process and feelings. I love how it didn't feel rushed but also wasn't stretched out unnecessarily. I love how the Mains are always, always trying to do better, even when circumstances aren't in their favor. Especially then, even.
Also I sweat Kirishima and Kaminari are the best bros Bakugo could ever have in his corner. And I know there's a sequel, but I also really like how open ended this one finished. So even if anyone doesn't want to go and get wrecked in the heart again, or one isn't ready to bet on their feelings in the sequel; this ending is a good place to rest and let the imagination run wild for these two.
May this Ship run free and wild always.

And also MVP goes to Dadzawa and DadMight, these two literally keeping their kids together with love and full support 🥹 and Mama Inko being super supportive and a gentle kindness for Izuku and Isabel, as does Mama Mitsuki being the aggressive but inwardly softy backbone.

We're in for a looong bumpy ride, mfs. Prepare tissues and stress balls cause we won't be able to reach in a strangle a few characters and our girl is Just Tired of the sht already. And we're not even in the fun part yet! Holy Shit.

Green Light in the Dark by hopefullydreaming
Chapter 74
Harry Potter AU, OC x Theodore Nott, Slow Burn, Eventual Romance, Pureblood Society, Pureblood Politics, Black Family Lore, Growing Up, Canon Typical Violence,There's a lot going on, but it's a really good read, and written nicely too. It's LONG by the way, so sometimes I get bored reading in the middle and take breaks. But the flow is fine, a and it doesn't drag each year on and on unlike other fics. Though inter character dynamics are a bit messy, but then again our main character is a bit (a lot) of an unreliable narrator so it feels like we're missing a lot of off-screen context when she does as well.
We're at 4th year and we're still not seeing the endgame ship rock (or any ship at all lmao), so this one would probably take as long as the James-Lily ship going. 😆WE NEED PATIENCE!
