Shen Qingqiu gains some information regarding Luo Binghe that he hadn't known before. He decides that the best way to handle it is to delve into preventative measures; after all, the best defense is a great offense.
Qi Qingqi finished with the essay she was currently reading, made some notes, and set it aside into the ‘done’ pile. She put paperweights on top of her current paperwork as not to lose her place. And then she leaned back in her chair, glass of wine in hand, and waited for Shen Qingqiu to arrive.
Shen Qingqiu knocked on the door twice, didn’t wait for her response to be let in, and then shut it behind him. He activated her privacy wards without a word, sealing her office to both sight and sound. He took a couple of deep breaths, the bracing type that meant he was doing his best not to scream.
Qi Qingqi sipped at her wine and waited for him to speak.
“I am going to kill a man,” Shen Qingqiu declared, “And you are going to help me.”
OR: Shen Qingqiu decides that murder is the best option to keep his disciple safe, and that his martial siblings are the best ones to help him do it.

"Comfy?" Xue Yang's expression was neutral. Observing the way Song Lan wiggled his arms to test the cuffs with hawk-like eyes.
"All good." Song Lan tried to swallow normally, but he could feel the thick gulp of air moving down his throat as Xue Yang's body inched closer.
Their chests were nearly touching. Song Lan felt the whisper of Xue Yang's warmth against him and ached for it. Xue Yang ran a fingernail over the curve of Song Lan's shoulder, digging sharp into his collarbone, making him hiss.
"Don't worry." Xue Yang pressed a soft kiss to Song Lan's cheek. "I'd never hurt you, baby."
