Wild forgot what it was like to be the Hero, to be the one everyone looks up to. With the Chain, he got so used to being in a group, being with people who had his back, who he could be vulnerable with.
But, now, after coming back to his lands without his brothers? Loneliness like no other spread across his heart.
He loves his Hyrule, he knows the people love him back. They would help him just as much he would help them. He knows this. Yet, the free gaze of everyone's trust on his back burned him like no other.
He was only one hero, after all, and he already failed once.

Summary
After everything that's happened, Wild is finally able to settle into his new life with the Chain, really bond with everyone as a pack. He’d never be able to thank everyone enough for all that they went through with and for him to get to this moment.
Most of all, he couldn’t thank Twilight enough. Through the nightmares, the memories, the confusion, Twilight was always there. Always the comforting, steady rock beside him that now, he couldn’t imagine living without.
Maybe, it happened within the year that Wild was growing into his own person, the feelings and mingling scents that began to circle around them. Or, have these feelings between them always been there and Wild is only realizing it now?
Whichever the case, Wild, despite his past, wants to explore it all, all with Twilight.

“Long ago, many years ago.” Odysseus finally says without looking at his son and continues walking. The prince slowly falls behind in rhythm thinking of his father’s words. They eventually make it out of the trees, seeing their palace in the short distance.

“What are you doing?” Luo Binghe decides to cut in, the words curt and short, standing tall.
The two boys jolt at the new voice, both their expressions different. The boy on the ground had sparkles in his eyes, face tight in desperation. In contrast, the one standing had his eyes slightly wide, quickly retracting his sword, greeting “Luo-shixiong.” bowing despite his surprise.
“Shizun’s instructions were only to practice form and movement. Who allowed sparring to take place?” Both boys brashly divert their eye contact. Luo Binghe sighs, turning back to the boys. “What are your names?”

He was the reincarnation of that hero, the silent knight. He shivered slightly, glancing down at the sword in the stone in front of him. "Link," Zelda whispered from behind him, "if you can take the sword from the stone, then we'll know for sure."
