Summary
All men are not created equal.
Midoriya Izuku learns of this truth as he is labelled ‘quirkless’, as he is called ‘Deku’, and as the universes whisper it every time he falls asleep. He learns it in his dreams of worlds not his own, where he witnesses pain and heartbreak and death and insurmountable other things beyond what the human mind should be able to grasp, things a child never should witness.
But all men are not created equal, and Izuku keeps the taunts and the bruises from his mother like he keeps his dreams of happiness and hurt and horror from everyone around him.
They’d never believe him, anyway.

Jason wasn’t coming back from the dead. Dick wasn’t going to leave Bludhaven. Tim was never going to be Robin, and Bruce was only getting worse. It was only a matter of time before his grief and anger destroyed Batman’s symbol and Robin’s legacy.
Tim took a shaky breath as he keyed into his laptop one-handed. The schematics and bare-bones of a plan were already started. He just needed to fine-tune it.
He had to kill the Joker.

Summary
Peter and Deadpool are held captive by a super-villain that has an inclination for torture. After she boasts her untarnished record at never having hurt a child or teenager, Peter is forced to break the truth to both her and Deadpool.
“Did you know I have a perfect record?” The villain collects a rusted pocket knife, tracing it up Peter’s arm, over his shoulders, down to his collarbone, as though considering where to cut. Peter focuses on controlling his breathing, fear twisting awfully in his belly. “You may look down on me, Mr. Spider-Man, but for all the righteous suffering I inflict, I’ve never hurt a child. Not once.”
“Y'know, I don’t think you do,” Peter blurts. At his words, Deadpool's stare intensifies. “Have a perfect, non-child harming record, that is.”

Summary
Finally, Peter thought, a field trip where nothing could go wrong. No spider bites or supervillains, and definitely no family embarrassment. Thank god WayneCorp had won the class vote over Stark Industries, or else things might be a little different.
