“What, Eraser, you a ninja now?” he taunts without turning to look at him. Boring.
“You’re under arrest, kid. Don’t make this difficult,” the man sighs, and Shoto almost feels sympathy at the evident exhaustion in his voice.
“I don’t think so. I have a date tonight, and so do you,” he counters, gesturing widely toward the seemingly endless files surrounding him. Those will be transferred to the police now. Eraserhead is just the man for the job.
He feels the knife withdraw and turns to meet the man’s tired eyes. “I’ll buy you a coffee next time, old man.”
“Sure, we can stop for a coffee on the way to the police station.”
“Don’t get ahead of yourself, gramps. But hey, I’ve got someone waiting for me. See ya.”

Summary
Since the first day at U.A. High, Shouto and Katsuki stood out to each other as annoying pain-in-the-asses. Fights break out, glasses shatter, shirt collars are grabbed. But as time goes on, the two learn more about each other and eventually fall in love with the same traits they once thought insufferable. And date! And do other things..
Story's current state: they fought a lot, became roommates, fought some more, stopped being roommates, and now they're sort of beginning to understand each other. Hopefully much more to come!
(slightly regretfully-written Quirkless AU MHA fanfiction about Katsuki Bakugo & Shoto Todoroki, their relationship dynamic being red x blue, angry x calm, rivals to lovers. I’m by no means a seasoned writer and also a bit new to fanfiction so apologies in advance
I mostly use their first names since they feel more personal, but characters will use last names when referring to each other in the traditional way.
Incorporates Gardner's Theory of Multiple Intelligences.
