Summary
Tubbo’s dagger catches against the guard’s sword, forcing the two into a standstill. Tubbo stares at him through narrowed eyes before looking behind him. There, the prince stands, frozen in place as he watches the two boys try and force the other into an opening, the clashing sound of metal blades filling the air. The guard, Tommy, catches his gaze and twists his head around, cerulean eyes gleaming with irritation. He curses under his breath.
“Ranboo, you idiot," Tommy yells. "Stop just standing there and go get backup!” Ranboo snaps out of his stupor with a nod, taking one last glimpse at Tubbo before running out of the room.
Tubbo knows when to pick his battles. With one swift movement, he breaks the impasse he’d been in with the blonde guard. His opponent's eyes widen with surprise as Tubbo leaps out the window, hand raised in one final mocking salute.
His father is not going to be pleased.
Or: Tubbo is an assassin sent on a mission to kill Prince Ranboo, who's fiercely protected by his guard, Tommy. But with each failed attempt Tubbo slowly learns more about the two boys, and is forced to confront the idea of whether if the path of an assassin is truly the one he's meant to follow.

Summary
When your entire family is comprised of famous detectives and investigators, it's only natural to want to join the business and prove yourself as fast as possible. At least, that the mindset Tommy has. But he's stuck in boarding school alongside Tubbo and Ranboo, whilst Wilbur, Techno and Phil wander about England solving mysteries.
He doesn't expect the very same investigation Wilbur and Techno have been hired to work on to come to him, much less to overhear vital information that could change the course of the investigation. So he does the only rational thing he can think of: Sneak out of his school to travel to London and tell his brothers about it himself, and perhaps do some investigating of his own along the way.
But as he learns the depth to the situation, Tommy finds he can't let this go. He must solve this case, whether his family likes it or not.

Above in the vast domain of Heaven, a guardian angel by the name of Niki must choose whether to abide by all she knows, or save Eret and Tubbo from the consequences of a mistake. And on Earth, the last guardian of an ancient forest, Phil takes care of every creature and traveller that he meets, hoping one day they will remain. And Tommy? He wakes up alone and confused in the forests of Earth. And although his memory may be missing, he knows damn well demons aren't meant to wake up in the Overworld. So how did he?
In these three realms, all of their paths will cross together for better, or for worse.
