    It’s only been a few days of trying to quit for the third time in the same number of months, and here he is already giving in as he pushes open the side door of the alleyway. Tomorrow he’ll be better, tomorrow he’ll stop.

    “Fuck!” Yeonjun groans to himself, remembering he specifically stopped packing his lucky lighter to break this neverending cycle of quitting and caving. He’s not someone well known for possessing the willpower needed to stop doing things that are bad for him even when he’s more than aware of all the harm it’ll cause him.

    “Need a light?”

    Yeonjun startles at the voice and looks up, a cigarette hanging loosely from his lips. There he is, Beomgyu, leaning against the wall under a flickering fluorescent light, waiting for him.

    Waiting for him.

    After a life altering injury, Yeonjun and Beomgyu have gone nearly a year without talking until Beomgyu unexpectedly shows up at Yeonjun’s boxing match with a guarded demeanor and unclear intentions.

    Heat suppressants.

    Beomgyu’s stomach dropped. He’d completely forgotten about those. How the hell was he supposed to stay in a house full of untamed alphas without his suppressants? Panic bubbled up inside him. Shit, shit, shit. If this hurricane dragged on long enough, he could go into heat. An intense one too, since he had been on suppressants for so long.

    “I’m fucked.”

    “Yeah, by Yeonjun. We already went over that,” Taehyun teased, sliding his stuff into the bedside table.

    “I’m being serious, Tyun. I’m actually fucked,” Beomgyu said, his voice low and tinged with frustration, the usual playful edge replaced by an unmistakable seriousness.

    After a one night stand with frat leader Yeonjun, Beomgyu finds himself stuck in the frat house during a hurricane, with his heat looming and no suppressants in sight.
