"As if-" Before Wisconsin can retort, a din of crashing and screeching from the garage interrupts her. Covering her ears, she can't bring herself to look back, fearful that she'd see the mangled body of her truck.
"Y'know," She says, only to be interrupted again by the TV slamming into the bay window at the back (now the bottom) of the bungalow and shattering into a million pieces. "Y'know, Ms. Shepherd, you oughta show some god-damn-"
Her eyes go wide as, above them, the front door swings open with a bang, followed by a torrent of frothy water which hits Wisconsin square in the chest, sending her flying to the 30-foot drop down the hallway to the end of the living room.

Spencer squints painfully at the ceiling, which is currently washed in morning light, without her consent. "Why are my curtains open, COdE?" She groans, turning over in her bed. COdE is a stupid name for a computer. What it stands for is worse.
"Performance analysis shows that, with your curtains closed, Spencer, your productivity is reduced by 14%."
Spencer groans louder. "If you want to wake me up, try shoving ice down my shirt, okay?"
"I cannot do that."

A bastion of technological advancements and the arts, with their enormous airships and beautifully carved buildings, Villaume is no stranger to the crowds who flock to gawk at all it has on offer.
Villaume is also home to a rare breed of hero (and villain), not seen anywhere else. A collection of talent that can only be found in the skies, and a legacy of heroes stretching far into the past right down to when L’Archipel first rose from the waves.
But with the world becoming more dangerous, and Villaume’s independence being threatened. All that can be done is hope that Beetle, and her partner Dragonfly, are able to succeed where their predecessors failed.

I make no effort to hide what I am, and there is not much to be done for a head full of butterflies you must understand. They flap and flutter, shifting and swirling, flocking together into the shape that I am.
The children, they find wonder in this. Magic that they've only read about in fairytales, or heard whispers of from their friends. Most are enamoured, some are not.
This is a story of both sorts.

To the rest of the Petrova Taskforce, it seems a bit odd that their resident Astrophage expert has suddenly taken to carrying a keyboard around and playing it whenever he speaks. Eva Stratt resolves to figure out what is going on.

Refusing to repeat the mistake of 30 years ago, the family becomes stranded in the multiverse, stuck without a clear path home. Stan's got his brother back, at least, but Stanford isn't the same as Stan remembers. Looks the same, sure, talks the same, absolutely - but he's got a 'professional working relationship' with Bill Cipher that Stan'd really rather not interrogate, and seems to have changed his whole vibe from Virgin Loser, to Space Cowboy Wizard; Which isn't all that different, now that Stan thinks about it.
Stan and Ford must now find a way to kill Bill, get the family back to Earth, and try to keep the ghosts of their past from tearing them apart. Again. Same boat, different planks, and neither one can deal with their own reflection in the water.
Well, whatever. They can handle this.
