Summary
Eight years ago, Lando Norris lost everyone he’d ever loved in a massacre that had never been solved. The only suspects were four students who had disappeared without a trace, leaving more questions than answers.
When a new detective, Oscar Piastri, joins Major Crimes, he’s the only person who can seem to break down the walls that Lando had spent the last decade building. As impossible feelings begin to grow between the pair of them, unmistakable links begin to be made between some of the multiple cases that are brought in and Lando’s past.
What happens when the Detective team are forced to ask themselves a terrifying question: What if they’ve been hunting the wrong people all along?

Summary
William Byers planned on dying that day, but nobody else knew that.
Joyce had held him close a few minutes before they were due to leave on this treacherous mission, had wrapped an arm around her youngest son's shoulder. “We won't let anything happen to you.” She was soft-spoken, she always tended to be, no matter what, with her own children – including El. “We'll be by your side the entire time. I'll be by your side the entire time. You've got nothing to worry about.”
Will wanted to believe her more than anybody – but sometimes, especially recently, his mother didn't see reality. She didn't seem to understand that even with her by Will's side, her son was still in a lot of danger. He'd entered that mission knowing he was already half-way to his deathbed, but that was something he didn't want his mum to understand.
