Even though Shane couldn’t hear the exact words, he knew what Ilya said. He shook his head.
“Unlock the door, or I will break the glass. Your choice.”
Shane’s eyes widened again and he briefly hung his head as if regretting all of his past life decisions, and Ilya heard the resounding click of the unlock mechanism.
He felt wild, his mind in violent turmoil as he threw open the door and his palm clutched the back of Shane’s head, his fingers finding purchase in the coarse hair. “Are you listening to me?” Shane ducked his head in acknowledgment. “I’m going to call off my driver. You will not move. I am going to sit there-“ he pointed at the empty passenger seat. “-in this boring car of yours and I am going to find out why the fuck you are alone and who the fuck made you cry.”

Inspired by Shane’s confession in The Long Game (*mini-spoiler*) about his whereabouts after leaving a certain Montreal nightclub in January 2017, Ilya leaves the club shortly after Shane only to find him pulled over on the side of the road, devastated.

When Ilya exited the club, he saw Shane inside a sensible car—a blue Jeep. Seconds later, the car was skirting off the gravel road. Ilya tried his best not to be disappointed, or hurt, but managed neither.

I’ve put explanation for series in the series book mark. For this story Theo. & Harry very in love. It’s OWL year. Theo got rid of umbridge when she tried to have a detention w Harry. Umbitch is dead & no way of tracing it to Theo & Harry.
Dumbles has told Harry he’s a horcrux & he needs to die. Theo & Neville & Tonks researching ways to get rid of horcrux.
Theo & Sirius researching other horcruxes. Theo’s killed the snake. Also gone r diary, cup & didem.
Susan bones & McMillan pissed Harry wasn’t punished for being slytherin hier have been bullying Luna. Theo cast triple back at you curse as an artifact (nickname Charlie) that follows Luna around so anyone bullying her gets back at them same bully but 3 times worse.
Ron & hermionine dislike Theo & don’t trust him. Have both made vows to put Harry before dumbles.
Voldy lured Theo in to talk to him & theo ran away & fiendfyre the snake which also burnt down Malfoy manor. Draco happy as it meant Voldy is leaving malfoys alone.
Dumbles paranoid Theo is bad for Harry & has many evil plans to kill Harry / separate Harry & Sirius. Gets Remus to kill Harry but Theo kills Remus first.
Snape thinks Harry is bad for Theo.
Theo & blaise r friends.
Sirius discovers slytherins locket. Theo kills it w Basilisk fang.
Harry & theo have sex &it’s magnificent.
To distract dumbles from Harry & return to school for OWLS, they (Harry Theo & Sirius) visit & take Grindelwald w them. G/w ok w this plan as long as they kill him in the end.
Sirius finds (w help of house elf) an orb belonging to black family that can create illusions of G/w & have them appear all over the place. Sirius is scared to use orb & asks Theo to do it. The orb is actually a demon of some sort that wants to possess Theo & in recompense give him knowledge. It tells him about ring horcrux ‘ promises it knows how to get horcrux out of Harry.
Prof. Sinistra concerned at dumbles focus on Harry as only saviour against voldy gathers a group of students & Percy Weasley to train up to defend hogworts. Has them under a contingency charm that means they cannot tell dumbles.
