“Kai…” Cole panted, still stroking as he talked. “G-go easy on him, man. It’s his first time.” Even as he said that, his hands couldn’t help but wander further across Zane’s body, reaching his firm chest and brushing the cold titanium that formed it.
Kai ignored him, wrapping a single wire around his finger and pulling at it. Zane’s throat contracted as the pleasure, so focused on a single, minuscule point, forced out gargled sounds that almost sounded like they’d been choked out of him. “You don’t want that, do you Zane? You don’t want me to go easy on you, right?”
“N-no, please… don’t.” He managed to get out, despite Kai’s increasing pace inside of him. That smug bastard… he was purposely making it as hard as possible for Zane to talk. “This is all so much, I feel like I’m drowning… but I know I can take it.”

Zane has been feeling strange since the merge, more sensitive to the world around him. Kai agrees (reluctantly) to help him figure out the cause of this new development, meanwhile Cole watches, supervising the whole thing.
Surely, this will just be a normal, uneventful check-up.

“Hm?” The Doctor glanced at him, unfazed by the bizarre sight. “Oh, it’s a macrobiogenic circuit access point.” He held up his sensor to the hole and beamed at the series of flashes it produced. “Aha! Very good.”
He’d already been having a difficult day, if he was going to be honest.

“Just call the Hoarders people. He’s your guy. I didn’t even know him.” Despite being iteration ten thousand, the lie feels less natural than it usually does. “I don’t need to be there. Neither of us do.”
“Totally.” Dirk sounds like sidewalk. “Yeah, no, that was my first thought, but then I slept on it and applied a modicum of critical thinking. In that 'Puppet Fetish Porn Studio Unearthed in Childhood Home of Indie Darling' is gonna boost neither of our ratings.”
Despite the tags, this is a comedy. Or is it?

I know for a fact that there are real cases out there, and some of them even find our way to us. But a larger majority of them are, if I’m being honest, total bullshit.

Will Byers has just been appointed as the Head Archivist of the American counterpart to the Magnus Institute. After his predecessor and mom, Joyce Byers, goes missing, he makes it his mission to pick up her work in her absence. What starts as an unserious job quickly leads into a much grander mystery where things like the Upside Down start to seem small in comparison.
