Summary
Fresh out of school and on summer break leading up to his last year of high school, Itoshi Rin is set to spend these next three and a half months of his break shutting out the entire world, and doing what he does best: oil painting.
But Sae, one last time, gives a shake of his head. “You’re going to the Isagi household.”
"I'm going to what?"Out go his initial plans to oil paint all summer and with Sae's force, Rin happens to take up a gardening job at the friendly Isagi household. The son, however, is a total mystery. As long as Rin does his job and doesn't get close with him, then it should be fine, right?
He never expected that upon meeting Isagi, feelings begin to swell up like a festering, raw wound. Unfortunately, whether Rin likes it or not, things start to happen between them.

Summary
It's been 6 years since the world has heard Yoichi Isagi's name; 6 long years of laying unconscious in a hospital bed. A sterile, lifeless room with an empty body. After waking from his his coma, Isagi is left with puzzles following his world and small, but desperate, attempts to remember the past. He comes to meet an "old" friend, a teammate he once shared the pitch with—Rin Itoshi. A quiet man that no longer plays football with the toxic writhing passion he once had. Just a shell of a footballer that lost their world.
No matter how hard Rin tries to keep Isagi away, the sprout never left him alone— neither did the past; harsh reminders and flashbacks pull Rin back to reality. He let go the delusions of living a normal life; Rin only lives within the walls that once had love residing inside.
As Isagi is regaining his memories while attending physical therapy, he and Rin seem to be constantly connected by fate.
