Summary
Mob is a more literal mob; he's an OSDD-1a system. And after being stuck in Mogami's head, he splits a new alter.
This work is being written because, as much as I absolutely adore MP100, I really wish there'd been more of an impact to Mob after that whole ordeal, cos like... that shit was traumatizing. The first half of this is mainly going to be a downward spiral for Mob and exploration of Mob's system tbh, but rest assured the comfort part of the hurt/comfort will live up to its name. Enjoy!

He almost doesn't notice the hole in the ground, lost in his thoughts as he is. It's deep, and looks out of place in the forest. More importantly, there's a child in the hole. A very small child, from the looks of it. The child themself looks gaunt and deathly pale, the strange clothes practically hanging off their stick-thin frame.
Nathan crouches down, concern etching itself onto his features. He's barely in the right head-space to look after himself at the moment, let alone anything else, but he can't just leave the poor kid there.

Abaddon is not a demon, but a human child raised in a cult, until he's abandoned and found by Nathan. Father-son bonding and healing ensues. Come get it while it's hot!

We know the hotel used to be an asylum. Abaddon is an unruly demon trapped in a child's body who likely terrorized the town for centuries (and still does). But if it's the 1950s, say, and a very odd child is causing a lot of chaos, and there's an insane asylum near by...

Summary
It had been a long and difficult 27 years since the Hail Mary had launched. Not as terrible as it could have been, but not easy. Humanity had survived and adapted, as it always did. There had been terrible wars. There had been incredible acts of kindness. There had been massive scientific breakthroughs. And now, there were two distant blips of Petrova-light, picked up by the Deep Space Network, hurtling home. Two probes, braking hard as they hurtled toward Earth holding the secrets to its salvation. They were late, or at least, not very early, but they were here.
Grace may have made his peace with dying to save Rocky, but Rocky insists they return to Earth.
