A year passes, and Finney, still a small, gorgeous boy with huge Bambi eyes and tousled curly brunette hair, appears to reclaim normalcy alongside his sister Gwen. But fate intervenes during their walk home from school when Finney accidentally bumps into Albert, now older but unmistakable. Frozen in shock, Finney brushes off Gwen's concern, haunted by the man's lingering, predatory gaze from afar. That very night, in their modest one-story home, Finney sleeps sprawled adorably in bed, unaware that Albert has trailed him and exploited the open window. The Grabber slips in, chloroforms the boy, and abducts him back to the familiar basement lair. Awakening in chains of memory, Finney confronts his captor, their reunion igniting a raw, possessive sexual encounter.
