13 years ago, Cursebreaker Harry James Potter went missing from his home in London, with zero traces or clues about his whereabouts. Draco Malfoy has spent the last 17 years in France, studying and working, and finally he is ready to return to a normal life in wizarding London, with a cushy job as a potions master making medical potions in St. Mungo's. Unfortunately, a normal life is going to have to wait, because the presumed dead Harry Potter has just shown up in his house, not a day older than when he went missing, and not a single memory of where he was, presenting with werewolf attributes and a fervent hunger.

Summary
Twelve years after the Battle of Hogwarts, Harry Potter, barely clinging to his reasons for being an auror, is asked by cursebreaker Draco Malfoy, his best friend and not-so-secret crush for the last decade, to help investigate a developing case at Hogwarts. Animals are showing up dead and the ghosts are acting "weird". After some investigation, it seems the concern was all a bit alarmist until the next full moon and they've got a human victim drained of blood and essence on their hands. Before they know it, they're knee-deep in dark magic, and Harry is in a race against time to find the culprit before Draco is taken as collateral.

“Aaaargh!” Draco’s hand came away immediately and he alternated glaring between his palm and Harry’s face.“What?” Hermione asked as she came back from the steps with Ron.
“He licked me!” he shouted and showed her the offended hand as if the evidence would be apparent. Harry laughed.
She tsked. “Draco… what was your hand doing in licking distance?”
Harry put his nose in the air and smiled wickedly at Draco.
