Buck doesn’t really have an answer because that question hits way to fucking close to home. A year or so ago he would have said, yes, I was an accident, so I know how that goes, but Buck knows better now. Knows that he would almost give anything for that answer to still be yes. Evie’s finger works under the seal to rip it open, a stack of important looking papers dumping out onto the table in front of her.
“Not me,” she says without looking up as she organizes them into a neat stack, “I was engineered.”

This fic broke me apart, devastated me, put me back together, and kissed my forehead. Buck gets that breakdown he lowkey deserves and a happy birthday. Everyone is there to support him when he lets them and I just... MAN. Christopher is great. It delves so much into the medical trauma aspect of being a savior baby that the show didn't. I didn't even realize I was on the slowly rising arc of Buck's breakdown until he hit it but at the same time I felt like something was coming and. MAN. The inclusion of Daniel, of him loving Buck even though he doesn't remember... I understood everything and it's just... It's so beautiful and good.
It has also entrenched my desire to drop bags of hammers on the Buckley parents.

The team discover an Instagram account based on what the public has overheard from their calls. Hen and Chim become amateur detectives in their quest to uncover the the context of every quote, but this becomes difficult when it's increasingly clear they've been left in the dark about something.
Based on the account @Overheard_LA and me deciding with all the insane things that the 118 say on calls, someone should be recording them for posterity.
