Summary
Valentine becomes the leader of Idris and all Shadowhunters when Alexander Lightwood is only two years old. Thus, a reign of terror begins and Idris and the Downworld become locked in a bitter war for several years. Magnus Bane becomes the commander of the Allied Downworld forces in the ongoing war against Idris while Alec ends up becoming the parabatai to Valentine’s ‘son’, Jace, and a general in Idris’ army.
