Summary
In some canon sources, Kara Zor-El was sent to Earth to protect and care for her cousin. But her pod was knocked off course, causing her to arrive decades too late. This left her with the weight of being the last survivor with memory of Krypton, the failure of her mission to care for Kal-El, a lack of purpose, and trauma from her time in the Phantom Zone.
But what if she'd arrived with her cousin, as intended? What if Kara landed on a strange world, with no one to greet or help her and no knowledge of the language, charged with the life of a teen mom in the United States, mourning the loss of everything she ever knew while trying to protect a superpowered infant?
Would that have been better?
